TraceTag Europe will present its plastic material traceability solutions and its applications from polymers marking to mineral profiling of plastics.
Conference: Material Traceability – organised at Itech by its ITECC chair – Thursday, October 29, 2026
The ITECC Chair (Industrial Chair for the Transition to a Collaborative Circular Economy) in partnership with the Thematic Institute for Decarbonization, Circular Economy is pleased to invite you to its Material Traceability Symposium.
A new circular economy challenge in the polymer industry.
An unmissable event to discuss the challenges, innovations, solutions and feedback of material traceability in the polymer industry.
At a time when the geographical origin of components is becoming a purchasing criterion, multi-recycling is taking off and regulatory changes on the recycling rate are appearing, monitoring the life cycle of a product thanks to object traceability (QR code, RFID, etc.) remains essential, but is no longer enough.
How can we continue to identify the material when it is crushed and recycled into pellets or reprocessed into monomers? This is the challenge of Material Traceability.
Integrating “markers” into the heart of this material or using its unique natural components, being able to detect them even in minute quantities and storing this data in secure spaces such as blockchains, is a major but essential challenge to identify the material and guarantee its origin.
Where do we stand today on the subject?
The conference offers an overview of current research projects, solution providers as well as feedback from user companies as well as an exhibitor area for companies
